Overview

There is open access for all creators to upload, create and sell NFT’s on our Testnet Website. Our testnet website is on the Polygon Mumbai chain.

Why use testnet?

Things are permenant on mainnet it's strongly advised to test things first! It's also a great way to show the Olta Community what you got and get help if needs be.

How to connect to Polygon (Mumbai) with a MetaMask wallet

  • Step 1: Click on the dropdown menu on top of the MetaMask wallet extension.
  • Step 2: Click on “Add Network” and add the following parameters in the blank space.
    • Network Name: Mumbai Testnet
    • New RPC URL: https://matic-mumbai.chainstacklabs.com/
    • Chain ID: 80001
    • Currency Symbol: MATIC
    • Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com/
  • Step 3: Click on “Save” and you’re good to go.

How to get test token (matic) on Polygon

  • Step 1: Visit https://faucet.polygon.technology/
  • Step 2: Click on “Mumbai Network” and add the following parameters.
    • Select Token: Matic Token
    • Wallet Address: Paste your Eth Address here Step 3: Click “Submit” and it will add 0.2 Matic tokens to your metamask wallet.

How to get test token (erc20 PoS) on Polygon

  • Step 1: Visit https://faucet.polygon.technology/
  • Step 2: Click on “Mumbai Network” and add the following parameters.
    • Select Token: Test ERC20 PoS (Plasma)
    • Wallet Address: Paste your Eth Address here Step 3: Click “Submit” and it will add 2 erc20 Test Tokens to your metamask wallet. You can add the test erc20 token to your metamask wallet. Please note It will appear as DERC20 (which means Dummy ERC20 Tokens). It does not mean you're a Dummy 😃
